Accession Book 62.1 - 77.891, pg. 385 reads: Picture of U. S. S. Drew. A.P.A. 162 - Auxiliary Personnel Attach Ship could carry 500 crew, 2,000 army personnel, enlisted men and officers and doctors, Jeeps, light tanks, small cannons, small trucks. After troops were landed the ship became an auxiliary hospital ship. |
